A sink roll (also called zinc pot roll) is a submerged roll located inside the zinc pot of a hot dip galvanizing line.
During the galvanizing process, the steel strip passes through molten zinc at approximately 450°C. The sink roll guides the strip downward and maintains stable movement through the zinc bath.
